MCP2200 Isolated USB to UART Development Kit
The MCP2200 is a UART development kit designed to be used in investigating the capabilities of the MCP2200. This board is powered via the hosts USB port for ease of use and the board is shielded in a ABS protective over. There are 3 LEDS on board to indicate power and two others to indicate data flowing through the TX & RX pins. The MCP2200 has an isolated power side that needs to be powered with 3V to 5.5V & the board offers 3.75 kV AC of electrical isolation for power and UART signals.

- LEDs to indicate USB to UART traffic flow
- Isolated power LED that indicates power to the isolated side
- Simply powered by a USB from the host board
- 6-pin PICkit serial header with UART and power signals
- Isolated transceiver powered externally from the isolated side with 3V to 5.5V – also doubles up as voltage level translator
