Self Compensating
These shock absorbers have a steel body with Weartec - Plus (harsh environment) finish, hardened stainless steel piston rod, locknut and hardened steel rod end button with insert for noise suppression. Universal mounting and stop collar attachments are available separately.
Shock absorbers are designed to bring moving loads smoothly to rest with the lowest possible force in the shortest possible time. They are superior to other kinds of damping element which store and bounce energy back into the system, causing damage to both product and equipment.
